Valley Acrylic Bath Warranty and Procedures Policy

All Valley Acrylic Bath Ltd. products are covered under a warranty period of one year, and only extend to the original owner; in other words, the warranty on Valley products is not transferable. You must provide a Proof of Purchase for warranty to be considered valid.

Warranty is immediately voided if products or equipment are not installed or operated in accordance with instructions supplied by Valley.

Damage caused by wear and tear, abuse, carelessness, accident or misuse of the product will not be covered under our warranty. Warranty also does not apply to stains or malfunctions caused by corrosive chemicals or other such materials.

Any labor charges incurred by the purchase to repair, replace, install or remove product are not covered by this warranty.

Terms of Payment:
General payment terms are net 30 days. A rate of 2% monthly (26.82% per annum, compounded monthly) will apply to overdue accounts.  Failure to meet payment terms may result in delayed or halted shipments.

All prices are in effect at the time of purchase unless a valid, formal quotation is provided in writing. Orders will be invoiced at the price in effect at the time the order is placed. Valley reserves the right to change list prices without notice.

All published prices are exclusive of applicable taxes.

At Valley (Valley Acrylic Bath Ltd.) we follow a strict quality control procedure prior to shipping our goods.  As part of this procedure, we photograph each shipment prior to shipping, and these photographs are available to our customers if a claim to carrier becomes necessary.

Before accepting any shipment from the carrier, please inspect the unit to make sure it is in good condition.

Freight Claims:
Valley will only prepay and charge at customers’ request; these shipments will ship with insured value. If a PP & CH (prepaid and charge) shipment arrives damaged, do not sign the carrier’s waybill, and request the transport company to return damaged product to Valley.  Please call a Valley customer service representative and advise of shipment coming back to Valley Acrylic Bath Ltd., and to arrange shipment of a replacement order.

Freight claims shipping collect will become the responsibility of the carrier. Valley will not be held responsible for damage incurred during shipping.  A new purchase order will be required for replacement items damaged in transit.

Valley Specification Guide:
We reserve the right to discontinue product at any time, or the right to change specifications or design without notice and without incurring obligation. All dimensions are approximate and subject to change without notice.

We recommend installing your shower base and completing tile work prior to ordering your shower door as finished measurements may vary due to tile and/or tile backing material thickness.

Cleaning & Care:
Our products can be cleaned using a mild soap and water on a weekly basis.

To soften mineral deposits on tubs and shower bases with a natural cleaner, use a water and vinegar solution. Do not use abrasive cleaners as they can cause irreversible damage to the acrylic items.

For a natural cleaner on your acrylic products, we suggest wetting baking soda with water to form a paste. Rub the paste on a sponge or brush to clean. For stubborn stains, let the cleaner sit for an hour.

Regular disinfections provide an effective defense against various types of bacteria susceptible of developing in the deposits that build up over time in all bathtubs and showers.

For daily cleaning, use a moist cloth and gentle liquid detergent.

For acrylic surfaces, occasional use of a special acrylic surface cleaner will add luster and protect the finish. Do not use abrasive cleaners, scrapers, metal brushes, or any items or products that could scratch or dull the surface.

Paint stains: Use either turpentine or paint thinner.

Joint Compound: Use a plastic or wood spatula covered with a damp cloth. Do not use a metal blade or a metal brush. If a rubber mat is used, it must be removed immediately after each use.

Ignoring this recommendation will cause damage not covered by the warranty.

Cleaning Shower Doors:
Cleaning excess water with a squeegee or sponge after each use will greatly lessen the cleaning required on your shower door overtime.

You may wish to try using:

  • 8 oz. (1 cup) of warm vinegar
  • 8 oz. (1 cup) of Dawn

Put the vinegar in the microwave for about two minutes to get it warm.  Then mix the vinegar and the Dawn in a spray bottle.  Spray the mixture on the glass and scrub with a sponge.  Wipe clear.
