Valley Warranty

Valley Bath & Kitchen (operating as Valley Acrylic Bath Ltd., herein referred to as “VALLEY”) offers the following limited warranties on its products. These warranties apply only to the original owner/end-user for personal residential use. The warranty period begins on the original purchase date, as indicated on a valid proof of purchase. Additional limitations apply to commercial installations.

A proof of purchase is required to process any warranty claim. This documentation allows VALLEY to verify that the product was purchased through an authorized VALLEY dealer.

All VALLEY products must be installed by a qualified professional. Improper installation, including installation not performed by a licensed or qualified installer, will void the warranty.

The warranty will be void if:

• Proof of purchase is not provided

• The product has been moved from its original place of installation

This warranty does not apply to damages resulting from incorrect installation or operating procedures, including but not limited to breakage, normal wear and tear, fault, carelessness, abuse, misuse, misapplication, improper maintenance, alteration, or modification of the product. The warranty also excludes damage caused by chemical or natural corrosion, ferrous, hard, or salty water conditions, accidents, fire, flood, acts of God, or other casualties.

It is the responsibility of the owner and installer to inspect all VALLEY products prior to installation. If any damage or defect in the finish is identified during inspection, please contact us immediately at 1-877-398-8827 (TUBS). Once the product has been installed, any damage or defect in the finish is not covered under warranty.

All acrylic bathtubs and shower bases must be installed within six (6) months of the purchase date to remain eligible for warranty coverage. Any transformation, modification, or alteration of a VALLEY product will automatically void the warranty.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
To ensure an efficient warranty review process, clear and accurate documentation of the product’s condition upon delivery is required. If our shipping photos show no visible damage at the time of shipment, VALLEY cannot assume responsibility for damages claimed thereafter.

Please inspect your product immediately upon receipt and report any concerns without delay. Any damage not documented in our shipping photos will not be covered under warranty, as these photos serve as the official record of the product’s condition prior to shipment.

The limited warranty will be as follows:

ACRYLIC PRODUCTS: Pertains to acrylic products such as skirted bathtubs, drop-in bathtubs, corner bathtubs, undermount bathtubs, above floor rough-in bathtubs, double-skirt bathtubs, bath/shower combo units, acrylic shower bases, custom acrylic bases, and Tile Me shower bases.

• Residential: These products have a limited warranty for residential use for a period of up to 20 years from the original purchase date, against any failure from improper manufacturing defects.
• Commercial: These products have a limited warranty for commercial use for a period of up to 5 years from the original purchase date, against any failure from improper manufacturing defects.

ACRYLIC WALL PANELS: Pertains to all acrylic wall panels that are meant to be used as a surround for showers and tubs.

• Residential: These products have a limited warranty for residential use for a period of up to 2 years from the original purchase date, against any failure from improper manufacturing defects.
• Commercial: These products have a limited warranty for commercial use for a period of up to 1 year from the original purchase date, against any failure from improper manufacturing defects.

FREESTANDING ACRYLIC BATHTUBS: Pertains to all acrylic freestanding bathtubs.

• Residential: These products have a limited warranty for residential use for a period of up to 2 years from the original purchase date, against any failure from improper manufacturing defects.
• Commercial: These products have a limited warranty for commercial use for a period of up to 1 year from the original purchase date, against any failure from improper manufacturing defects.

WALK-IN ACRYLIC BATHTUBS: Pertains to all acrylic walk-in bathtubs, such as the LIFE series.

• Residential: These products have a limited warranty for residential use for a period of up to 1 year from the original purchase date, against any failure from improper manufacturing defects.
• Commercial: These products have a limited warranty for commercial use for a period of up to 1 year from the original purchase date, against any failure from improper manufacturing defects

PLUNGE BATHTUBS: Pertains to all plunge bathtubs, such as the ELEMENT Collection.

• Residential: These products have a limited warranty for residential use for a period of up to 1 year from the original purchase date, against any failure from improper manufacturing defects.
• Commercial: These products have a limited warranty for commercial use for a period of up to 1 year from the original purchase date, against any failure from improper manufacturing defects

Important Warranty Notice:
Damages resulting from freezing conditions, improper water chemistry, or improper installation will void the warranty. Please ensure proper installation to maintain warranty coverage.

CAST RESIN PRODUCTS: Pertains to all basins and freestanding bathtubs that are made out of cast resin.

• Residential: These products have a limited warranty for residential use for a period of up to 1 year from the original purchase date, against any failure from improper manufacturing defects.
• Commercial: These products have a limited warranty for commercial use for a period of up to 6 months from the original purchase date, against any failure from improper manufacturing defects.

SHILA STONE PRODUCTS: Pertains to Shila Stone basins (above counter, undermount, vessel, drop-in, wall-mount, freestanding), shower bases, freestanding bathtubs, corner shelves and wall panels.

• Residential: These products have a limited warranty for residential use for a period of up to 4 years from the original purchase date, against any failure from improper manufacturing defects. This does not apply to any custom finishes — please see below for warranty information on Colour Me, Marble, Flake and Sparkle Series products.
• Commercial: These products have a limited warranty for commercial use for a period of up to 1 years from the original purchase date, against any failure from improper manufacturing defects. This does not apply to any custom finishes — please see below for warranty information on Colour Me, Marble, Flake and Sparkle Series products.

AURA STONE PRODUCTS: Pertains to all basins (freestanding and otherwise) made out of Aura Stone.

• Residential: These products have a limited warranty for residential use for a period of up to 3 years from the original purchase date, against any failure from improper manufacturing defects.
• Commercial: These products have a limited warranty for commercial use for a period of up to 1 years from the original purchase date, against any failure from improper manufacturing defects.

CERAMIC BASINS: Pertains to undermount, above counter/vessel, and drop-in basins

• Residential: These products have a limited warranty for residential use for a period of up to 1 year from the original purchase date, against any failure from improper manufacturing defects.
• Commercial: These products have a limited warranty for commercial use for a period of up to 1 year from the original purchase date, against any failure from improper manufacturing defects.

STAINLESS STEEL SINKS: Pertains to all stainless steel sinks.

• Residential: These products have a limited warranty for residential use for a period of up to 3 years from the original purchase date, against any failure from improper manufacturing defects.
• Commercial: These products have a limited warranty for commercial use for a period of up to 1 year from the original purchase date, against any failure from improper manufacturing defects.

FAUCETS & VALVES: Pertains to single hole, two hole, widespread, wall-mount, roman tub fillers, freestanding and kitchen faucets. This also covers universal rough-in valves.

• Residential: These products have a limited 1 year warranty period, with the exception of the cartridges which have a limited lifetime warranty period of ten (10) years for multi-family residential applications from the original purchase date against any failure from improper manufacturing defects. (If you can present your proof of purchase, we will provide the replacement cartridge at no charge to you.). For purposes of this warranty, the term "multi-family residential application" refers to the purchase of the faucet from an authorized VALLEY ACRYLIC BATH seller by a purchaser who owns but does not live in the residential dwelling in which the faucet is initially installed, such as in a rented or leased single unit or multi-unit detached home (duplex or townhome), or a condominium, apartment building or community living center. The following installations are not considered multi-family residential applications, are excluded from the 10-year warranty and are subject to the 5-year warranty: industrial, institutional or other business premises, such as a dormitory, hospitality premises (hotel, motel or extended stay location), airport, educational facility, long- or short-term healthcare facility (hospital, rehabilitation center, nursing, assisted or staged-care living unit), public space or common area.
• Commercial: These products have a limited 1 year warranty period, with the exception of the cartridges which have a limited lifetime warranty period of five (5) years from the original purchase date against any failure from improper manufacturing defects. (If you can present your proof of purchase, we will provide the replacement cartridge at no charge to you.)

TOILETS: Pertains to all freestanding toilets and does not include toilet seats.

• Residential: These products have a limited warranty for residential use for a period of up to 1 year from the original purchase date, against any failure from improper manufacturing defects.
• Commercial: These products have a limited warranty for commercial use for a period of up to 1 year from the original purchase date, against any failure from improper manufacturing defects

SHOWER RAILS & MIXERS: Pertains to hand shower rails, and wall-mount shower mixers.

• Residential: These products have a limited warranty for residential use for a period of up to 1 year from the original purchase date, against any failure from improper manufacturing defects.
• Commercial: These products have a limited warranty for commercial use for a period of up to 6 months from the original purchase date, against any failure from improper manufacturing defects.

SHOWER PANELS: Pertains to any shower panel units.

• Residential: These products have a limited warranty for residential use for a period of up to 1 year from the original purchase date, against any failure from improper manufacturing defects. The cartridge has a limited lifetime (If you can present your proof of purchase, we will provide the replacement cartridge at no charge to you.)
• Commercial: These products have a limited warranty for commercial use for a period of up to 1 year from the original purchase date, against any failure from improper manufacturing defects. The cartridge has a limited lifetime (If you can present your proof of purchase, we will provide the replacement cartridge at no charge to you.)

GLASS DOORS: Pertains to all shower doors, tub doors and fixed glass panels.

• Residential: These products have a limited warranty for residential use for a period of up to 5 year from the original purchase date, against any failure from improper manufacturing defects.
• Commercial: These products have a limited warranty for commercial use for a period of up to 1 year from the original purchase date, against any failure from improper manufacturing defects.

ACCESSORIES: Pertains to soap dispensers; toilet accessories such as towel rings, robe hooks, towel bars, paper holders; drains such as bathtub drains , shower base drains, sink drains, as well as shelves and stools.

• Residential: These products have a limited warranty for residential use for a period of up to 1 year from the original purchase date, against any failure from improper manufacturing defects.
• Commercial: These products have a limited warranty for commercial use for a period of up to 1 year from the original purchase date, against any failure from improper manufacturing defects.

TOWEL WARMERS: Pertains to all towel warmers.

• Residential: These products have a limited warranty for residential use for a period of up to 1 year from the original purchase date, against any failure from improper manufacturing defects.
• Commercial: These products have a limited warranty for commercial use for a period of up to 1 year from the original purchase date, against any failure from improper manufacturing defects.

CUSTOM PLATING FINISHES: This includes any plumbing fixtures that are plated in a custom Oil Rubbed Bronze, Brushed Gold, Gold, Brushed Brass, Polished Brass, Dark Copper, Brushed Rose Gold, Rose Gold, Charcoal Nickel, Brushed Nickel, Nickel Silver, Brushed Chrome, Chrome, or Matte Black finish. Finishes on drains are not covered by the warranty, nor the normal wear of any finish. Normal wear and tear is the expected decline in the condition of a product/finish due to normal everyday use.

Disclaimer: Please be aware that any gold finish, such as rose gold or brushed gold, is more prone to scratching as gold tends to oxidize much faster than other finishes. Further, gold is a very “soft” finish so any contact with rough fabrics or rough handling will cause the product to produce scratches.

• Residential: The custom “finish” of the product is warranted for residential use for a period of 1 year, from the original purchase date against any manufacturing defects. This does not apply to normal wear and tear or misuse of said custom products.
• Commercial: The custom “finish” of the product is warranted for commercial use for a period of 6 months, from the original purchase date against any manufacturing defects. This does not apply to normal wear and tear or misuse of said custom products.

CUSTOM FINISHES: Pertains to standard and high-end Colour Me finishes, Flake series, Marble Series and Sparkle series finishes for Shila Stone and acrylic products.

• Residential: The custom “finish” of the product is warranted for residential use for a period of up to 1 year, from the original purchase date against any manufacturing defects. This does not apply to normal wear and tear or misuse of said custom product.
• Commercial: The custom “finish” of the product is warranted for commercial use for a period of up to 1 year, from the original purchase date against any manufacturing defects. This does not apply to normal wear and tear or misuse of said custom product.

BATH FURNITURE (VANITIES): Pertains to wall hung and freestanding bath furniture units, including the basins and mirrors (if included). This warranty also applies to non-LED and LED mirrors.

• Residential: These products have a limited warranty for residential use for a period of up to 1 year from the original purchase date, against any failure from improper manufacturing defects.
• Commercial: These products have a limited warranty for commercial use for a period of up to 1 year from the original purchase date, against any failure from improper manufacturing defects.

JETTING SYSTEM: Pertains to all of Valley’s jetting mechanisms, including air and hydro jets, as well as any other jetting systems.

• All air blowers, pumps, electronic controls and remote controls have a limited warranty period of 1 year from the date of purchase by the initial owner/end-user, to be free of defects in the manufacturing, material and workmanship. This applies to both residential and commercial A proof of purchase is required; see further details below.
• Warranty Exclusions for Blowers:

MORE DETAILS REGARDING LIMITED WARRANTY

Please be sure to provide all pertinent information regarding your claim, including a proof of purchase (i.e. receipt), a complete description of the problem, the model name and number and color or finish of the product, as well as the date and place of purchase. In order to assess any claim, we may have to inspect the product as installed before removal and must be provided with access to the product upon request.

VALLEY’s warranty obligation shall be discharged upon tender of replacement or repair. The purchaser refusal to accept the tender terminates VALLEY’s warranty obligation. Any product replaced or repaired during the warranty period will be covered during the remaining period of the original warranty. In no event shall the Seller’s liability under this warranty exceed the cost of repair or replacement of the product or the purchase price of the product.

VALLEY is not responsible for costs and claims that may arise from purchase of a product unsuited to the structure of the existing building. The manufacturer’s warranty is limited to repair or replacement (with a VALLEY product of equal value), provided the claim is made to VALLEY within the warranty period. Labour costs and any other expenses entailed by replacement of a VALLEY product are not covered by the warranty and does not include any cost of removal, reinstallation, transport and shipping of defective product, loss of time, salary or any other expenses as well as any consequential damages of any kind. VALLEY and its representatives shall not be liable for any injury, loss, cost or other damage, whether direct, consequential, incidental, or special that arise from any defect covered under this limited warranty.
